Coming in from Canada

Coming in from Canada

Will be coming in from Canada Friday.

I have ordered some new tires for my wife's BMW and they are sitting in International Falls waiting for me. I thought that I could set up an install somewhere along the road or in Duluth.

I have called or emailed no less that 5 different MC dealers along the way and NONE of them will install a tire on a brand of bike they do not sell. It kind of floored me to get the replies. "Sorry we are a Honda Yamaha (insert brand name here) and we do not service BMWs"

I can see not doing a required service check but something as simple as an oil or tire change with customer supplied materials is an absolute no go. I even offered to take the wheels off the bike and put them back on myself but nope, no can do.

I have traveled with my bike throughout the USA and Canada, have stopped at a few dealers, and just about always see them doing things like tire changes etc on brands they do not sell but none of the NE Minnesota dealers would even want to quote me a crazy price to do it.

Her current tires will make the trip so have decided to go pick them up and install them myself here at home later.
