anywhere along the Wisconsin river from the Mississipi to madison is just outstanding. Wyalusing (Sp?) state park about 30 miles south of Lacross along the Mississipi is a nice bet for camping and sightseeing. Also in the area is the Frank Lloyd Wright house and museum.
