I am headed to Cleveland after the rally, via Mackinaw, wanting to take secondary roads through Michigan and maybe a little ferry ride across the Lake from Peelee to Sandusky, if such a thing exists. Flexible time budget, no riding after dusk.... |
Returning from Rally to Pittsburgh
I'll be departing the rally on Sat afternoon (?) to ride home to Pittsburgh on my yellow Can Am Spyder. May take a northerly route, (rt 2?), and take 1-1/2 days to get home, 1000 miles. Anyone care to ride along? Typically run 10-15 over the limit, no 'performance awards'.

Hi Anne,
I may want to ride along with you. Originally was considering going via Minneapolis to cover new ground--never been there--but your ferry idea sounds interesting. I'm going home beyond Cleveland back to Maryland. Family and colleagues are all anxious about female traveling alone. :-P I've done it before just not quite that far away. I'm on a '99 Bandit 1200s.
